I haven’t been listening to audiobooks forever, but I’ve been lucky enough to come across some fantastic narrators (and some less than fantastic narrators). These are some of the notable narrators I’ve spent some time with (but by no means are these all of them). The images link to my review.

I’m not familiar with these books or narrators, but I have listened to audios by the same author but different narrators. Some are definitely better than others!

Lenny Henry is THE EPITOME of a narrator. He is what narrating is all about…he is amazing. He made what I would call a strange and a little silly book into some kind of experience. I want more of him!

I have not listened to many author narrations, but I must agree. Narrators are Narrators and Authors are Authors and the two should be kept separate like White Chocolate and Dark Chocolate. (You know white chocolate isn’t real chocolate, right?)
