July Reading Plan

I seem to do better when I set goals for myself, so here is my updated reading plan for the next few weeks.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: I read most of it over the weekend.  I wanted to re-read it before the movie which I'm seeing on Wednesday.  I'm saving the last 100 pages (starting with "The Cave") for tomorrow night so that I can read it all in one sitting (I have to leave for dance in an hour).

The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey: I have about 200 pages left and I'd like to finish it by Friday.  Shouldn't be hard since I'm really enjoying it and it goes fast.

War and Peace: For now, read 10 pages a day during the week and 100 pages on the weekends.  That seems reasonable.  I'll probably revisit the plan in a few weeks.

Ethan Frome: I completely forgot about this until today.  We're reading it for RBC and I'd like to participate.  The schedule says to have the first half read by Friday.  I'm going to modify that and try to read it by Sunday so that I have the weekend to do so.  It's fairly short so I'm not worried.

and finally

The Annotated Pride and Prejudice:  Ideally, I'd like to read this by the end of the month.  Realistically, I probably won't.  But this is my first Everything Austen Challenge and I'm excited to start it.

Whew.  Guess I'll have to somehow squeeze work and dance into my reading life.
