Hello. Welcome to my books. my life.‘s new home. Please look around and let me know what you think. I had a lot of fun playing around with it and getting things just the way I wanted them. I still need to do a few things (like add a blogroll and favicon) but I grew to impatient to share my creation. Enjoy.

I love it! The simple theme is nice. The site itself loaded fine, but the theme took a second to finish loading. I could read things right away though.

Beautiful new page! Let me know how you like having your own domain, I’ve been thinking about doing it at some point but I’ve been a bit unsure because I don’t know if you lose the blog surfer and my comments pages that are so handy on free wordpress. Of course you can just use google reader and email subscribe to comments, but I’m pondering it over.

  It does get rid of those features (although you may be able to find them in a plugin – i found the same stats tracker in a plugin). I didn’t use them , so it wasn’t an issue to me. I use google reader. And I subscribe to comments via email when I want to follow the conversation.

Wow – so you have reinvented your home in the online world again 🙂 Your new blog looks nice – I love the minimalism – light background, pleasant colour and focus on the blog posts. I thought I might miss your ‘Reading is Sexy’ yellow mug, but it there – nice to see that 🙂 Hope you are enjoying your new online home!

    I have to also say I am amazed at the way you have designed and got two blogs up and running in such a short span of time! Quite impressive! I take forever if I have to design something, because I am not able to finalize on how the page should look.
