The Sunday Salon: Readathon Recap

The Sunday Salon.comSo I wimped out at 1am (after 17 hours). I was tired. I had just finished a book at midnight and knew I wasn’t going to finish another. I also needed to lie down or my back was going to have a fit, and we all know where lying down leads to. So here I am at 9am, fully rested and ready to go about my day. Congratulations to everyone who stayed up the entire 24 hours (or closer to the 24 hours than me). Thanks to all who co-hosted and helped out with the planning and execution of the event. You did a great job! I went to my bed to read around midnight and stuck it out until about 2am. I was so close to the end of a book that I was able to fight out the exhaustion to finish it off. Had I been further out I likely would have stopped earlier.

    Congratulations on a successful event!

I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t consider 17 hours of reading/blogging/cheering to be wimping out! Glad you had a good time!

I think 3 books, 1211 pages and 17 hours on the read-a-thon are awesome! Congratulations!

I am really looking forward to reading your review of ‘Blankets’ 🙂
