How Will You Ever Recognize Me at BEA?

My avatar on almost every online site is:

But, surprise, surprise, that is not, in fact, what I look like. I wanted to give you all a way to recognize me this week, so despite my strong dislike of webcam pics, I am presenting you with a real picture of me:

And because the likelihood of you actually seeing me with my hair down is extremely slim, here I am with my hair up (EDIT: Credit for the hair up/hair down idea should go to Trisha at Eclectic/Eccentric):

And yes, I know I look like I’m 17. I promise you I am not.

Now you know what I look like so make sure you say hello this week.

You know, I thought about getting or making a pin to wear with the yellow mug, but I think it’s a little late now.

I’m going to wave and say hello here, because I won’t be at BBC. It is nice seeing what you look like nonetheless πŸ™‚

Like Iris I won’t be at BEA, but it was nice to see you anyhow. I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s regularly mistaken for a teenager πŸ˜›

It seems to be a common problem for book bloggers. Perhaps we have found the secret to everlasting youth?

I will text you a picture of myself Thursday morning so you can look for what I’m wearing. You may not see my face because I may be behind a mound of books. πŸ˜‰

I hope you have one of those yellow mugs at home – I can’t imagine you not having that. Well, you don’t look like you are 17, you look like you are 16 πŸ™‚

Hope you have a wonderful time at the BEA! Am very jealous of you πŸ™‚

I need to do this too! Although there is a picture of me in the about section. I love how you (and Trisha from ecclectic/eccentric) did the pics with the hair up and down. =) I’ll look for you there!

I thought someone else had done it but I couldn’t remember who. I will edit to give Trisha credit. Thanks.

It wouldn’t be too late to go and get one of those make-your-own button things from an office supply store and print out a copy of the mug…
