The Sunday Salon: Throwing a Bunch of Information at You to See What Sticks

Today will just be a grab bag of a Sunday Salon post. I’m still trying to catch up on everything. Expect more BEA/NYC recaps in the very near future. And keep your eyes peeled for some actual reviews (I know – crazy, right?). I should also probably do a May recap before too much of June elapses. In the meantime, scroll down for some various information. Happy Sunday!

That’s How I Blog

Next Tuesday, June 15, I will be on That’s How I Blog with its wonderful host, Nicole from Linus’s Blanket. I hope you will all listen in (the chat room is always fun if you listen live but you can also download it as a podcast later). I think it’s at 9pm EST but I could be wrong on the time. I’ll remind you again as it gets closer.

The reason I am reminding you today is so you still have time to read the 20-minute book club selection and join us in the discussion. My pick is Beatrice and Virgil by Yann Martel. I am actually still in the middle of it but I am assured it will make for a great conversation as it produces strong reactions.

Oh, are you reading the ebook on your ipad?

I’ve been hearing nothing but good things about The Passage. I’m very curious.

Ahh you re-read Babysitter’s Club!! Are you going to review it? If so I guess you can wait on this question, but did you love it as much as when you were a kid?

It’s actually a new prequel. And yes. I loved it.

What a great line up – I want to read each of the four books you have listed! The new BSC is good?

It’s all pretty sticky to me! Looks like you have a great reading week ahead. I really need to start reading The Passage since everyone and their mother is raving about it. It’s just so daunting….
