BEA Books I Am Most Looking Forward to, or Which Books BEA Attendees Can Taunt Michelle With Later [Armchair BEA]

Welcome back. I have another Armchair BEA post for you.

Last year, I learned that you can’t take every book that is handed to you at BEA. You will never read them all. You will have to carry them around all day. It doesn’t end well. If I could go to BEA this year, I would be much more selective. And, if I only walked away with 6 books (unlikely), it would be these 6. Most of these ended up being the next in a YA series and I am probably most excited for Crossed.

  • Crossed by Ally Condie
  • Forever by Maggie Stiefvater
  • The Death Cure by James Dashner
  • The Fox Inheritance by Mary E. Pearson
  • The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenides (no cover available)
  • Habibi by Craig Thompson

What books are you looking forward to? Which ones would you grab at BEA?

Yes, I learned that tough lesson at SIBA. At least that was local and I didn’t have to ship them home! I don’t even know if I could make a list of what I am excited about. Too much to read right NOW!

I didn’t know Craig Thompson had a new book coming out! Thanks for the heads-up. 🙂

Crossed is a big one this time around. Maybe I should suck it up and read Matched!!! I have been putting it off, but looks like I need to just read it already 🙂

Read Matched! It’s REALLY good. I was hesitant at first but I loved it.

Nice selection of books. I have heard of Crossed, but not the others. Glad to add your blog to my RSS feed. Hope to stay connected.

Crossed and Forever would definitely be on my list too! I haven’t heard of the other books, I think this means I have to go looking for the first books in these series.

I probably should have listed the first books, huh?

It sounds like BEA requires good upper body strength or a valet to carry the books around for you!

My husband acted as a wonderful valet last year. 🙂
