Florence in Pictures

I have not forgotten about my promise to show you all pictures (I just kind of forgot for a little while). I’ve given you Athens and Rome, so now it is time for Florence.

We adored Florence. We enjoyed everything about the city. And it just happened to be where Ben celebrated his 30th birthday.

Florence really is beautiful and the buildings look really finely wrought. It seems like a great place to spend a birthday!

Jeez. My husband turned 30 at a bar with all his friends, I spend 30 in St. Augustine! Florence seems like a better deal. These are gorgeous pictures!

I loved Florence when my daughter and I spent a week there a couple years ago. We rented an apartment just half a block from the Duomo and were in town to see the medieveal soccer game and parade! Pretty amazing. And the food… I can’t rave enough about it

These pictures are making me so happy for you, so sad that I have never been to Italy. Maybe I should pull an Eat, Pray, Love and take off 🙂

Wow! Nice pictures! Florence is surely a great place to spend a birthday. Lot’s of history there, both in long time past and the not so distant past, Florence has always been a wonderful place
