The Sunday Salon [3.18.12]

Well I am still in the midst of all things baby. I’ll be 30 weeks tomorrow and I’m feeling the end approaching. We are going on the hospital tour tonight and I’m back to Babies R Us in a few hours to finish continue registering. I’m taking a friend with me for some guidance this time, but if any of you parents out there have advice on things I absolutely need and (perhaps, more importantly) things I absolutely do not need, I’ll take it.

I did manage to read a book this weekend though. I finished Pandemonium and, just in case I don’t get around to reviewing it for awhile, I’ll let you know I loved it just as much as Delirium. So I have once again found a Book 2 I didn’t hate. Perhaps the tide has changed on my Book 2 woes?

Is everyone out enjoying this early spring (or in our case, almost-summer) weather?

Two words…Diaper. Genie. Loved it with the first, but when I had two in diapers, it saved us. (Not suggesting you get pregnant in less than a year, mind you.) I buy it for every shower I go to (if they want it). I’m so glad to hear you loved Pandy. I have it sitting on my bedside table…just need to get to it!

I don’t know if you have considered a video monitor but we LOVE ours! We still use it every day and our daughter will be three next month.

Take a look at the Bumbo Baby Seat. When I was babysitting a very young baby in my home, this thing was imperative. It’s like a little baby set that you can attach a tray to, and it’s soft and portable, so baby can eat anywhere without a highchair. Very cool little thing. So glad the little one will be here soon! I can’t wait to see some new baby pictures!
