Passion [Audiobook Review]

NOTE: This is the third book in the Fallen series. While I would never intentionally spoil the book I am reviewing, you may not want to read this review if you haven’t read the first two books.

Title: Passion
Author: Lauren Kate
Narrators: Justine Eyre
Genre: Young Adult; Paranormal; Romance
Pages: 432
Audio: 9.9 hours
Year: 2011
Publisher: Listening Library
Source: Library
Book Rating: 4/5
Audio Rating: 4.5/5

Summary:

Traveling through her own announcer, Luce visits her past lives, seeing the love and destruction she and Daniel of faced over the centuries.

My Thoughts:

This one got some bad reviews, so I was prepared not to like it as much as the others in this series. But I really enjoyed visiitng Luce and Daniel in the past and seeing all of their various incarnations. It helps strengthen the foundation for their love. We are also treated to more of the fallen angel history lesson.

I still have questions, but I’m hoping those are answered in Rapture.

Audiobook Thoughts:

I still love Justine Eyre. And this time she does accents!

I am glad that this one didn’t disappoint, and that it made you look forward to the next in the series. I sometimes find that I get bored and uninterested after the first book in a series, so I rarely get deep into them. It’s also nice that you had a different reaction to the book than a lot of others have had. A differing opinion is nice to see.
