The Sunday Salon [10.13.13]

The Sunday

Good morning! How are you all doing today? The weather finally broke down here (through who knows if it is for good) and I am absolutely loving these cool mornings. I went for a run for the first time in two months yesterday and we went to a local pumpkin patch as well (pics on Wednesday I think). It almost feels like fall.

Although I wasn’t able to participate in Dewey’s 24-hour Readathon yesterday (I think it will be MANY years before I am able to participate again), I did manage to read over 100 pages yesterday and I finished TWO books on Thursday. Crazy. Maybe this reading things hasn’t completely abandoned me. I hope the rest of you had fun reading all day.

And now I have a small creature pulling on my leg asking “up?” so I am off to enjoy my Sunday. And maybe even read a little more.

Sounds like you had an accidental readathon like me! Mine was spent in the car listening to audio for 8 hours driving to Tallahassee and back. Hey, whatever way we can get it! I’m almost never able to do the fall readathon because I am always in the middle of kids’ sports and activities. I always tell myself that I’ll do readathons when they leave for college.
