Sorry for being MIA this week. My job has the ability to go from 0 to 60 in no time and this, compounded other life circumstances meant that every moment not devoted to sleeping or parenting was spent working this week. Thankfully, this is rare for me and the coming week should be a lot easier. I am once again reassured that the universe did me right by leading me away from a Big Law job. I like seeing my kid.
Anyway, I read nothing this week. And didn’t even think about blogging. So here we are, November 17 and I’ve posted one review this month.
I am technically reading Night Film, though I seem to be focusing on a photography book I got at the library instead when I have a few minutes to spare. I am also reading Inferno on audio but even that is slow-going since Evan has firmly decided the car is not the place for audiobooks.
I am feeling a little burnt out and I am seriously considering whether this book blogging thing is really for me anymore. Sigh. Maybe it’s time for a change.
I totally get the burnout and the busyness of life and I don’t even have a kid! We are all just doing the best we can.

Take the holidays off and decide later. I’d be sad if you gave up blogging altogether but everyone has slowed down this year, not just you. Time moves quickly in general these days so a week or two could go by and I don’t even think of my blog, but I think of the people I miss hearing from.

I agree with others, though I admit working full time, having a small child and blogging….wow. I think balance is key. Maybe less is much better. I’d miss you.
