Brief thoughts for you this Sunday morning:
I am currently in an awful reading slump and there is not much I can do about it. I am have read maybe 100 print pages in the last month. I like the book I’m reading. But there are so many other things to do with my time. I need one of those vacations where you sit on the beach and read all day just to catch up. Who wants to watch E for me?
The health kick is still going pretty strong at least. I’m at my lowest weight since my second trimester and I have a race next weekend – my first 8k (about 5 miles). I feel like I’m really getting somewhere as a runner again and I’m excited to see what I can do (ultimately, I’ll just be happy if I finish in under an hour).
My mom is coming to visit next week and I’m super excited. I was getting a little bummed over the fact that no one was coming to visit this spring like usual. So when she suddenly told me she was planning a trip, I was so happy. Evan has changed a lot since she saw him at Christmas and I think they’re going to have a blast.
That’s my story this week. Hope life is keeping all of you hopping, too. Happy Sunday!
Yay for the running! The weather has been great for it. I can sympathize with the slump. I just don’t sit down long enough to get through anything. If it weren’t for audio, I’d get nothing read.

I was way ahead with my reading but then production week hit and now I am behind. It sure doesn’t take long to fall behind. I have had some time this week but when you are away from it and your brain is spongy from lack of use, you just want to want TV and that is what I’ve been doing. After responding to Sunday Salon posts, I am on the couch with my book for the rest of the day.

I hope you get over the reading slump. I know how life can get in the way, though!

I’ve been seriously missing my family, so I had the same excitement when I found out my sister was going to come to visit me the weekend after next! We are going to do touristy NY things and it is going to be fun. I hope you have a lovely visit with your mom and that your reading slump gets better soon!!
