My Thoughts:
Eleanor & Park is one of those books that I loved, but am struggling to put my finger on just why. It has that magic that certain books have – the ones that you can’t help but fall for.
The book alternates between Eleanor and Park, allowing the reader to fully experience the entire relationship. It is not all love and kisses. In fact, much of the book is difficult to read because Eleanor’s life is so hard and unfair. The 1980s setting seems to make it even more desperate and added to its charm. This one will appeal to a large audience.

Every single review I’ve read of this book has been glowing, so I broke down and bought it on my Kindle. So now I just need to finish my commitments and get to it.
