I know a bunch of you already know this through twitter and have already gone and said hello to her, but for those of you who don’t, one of my best friends in the whole world just started a book/desserts blog and I am here today simply to send you on to visit her. So click this link and say hi:
Chocolate-Covered Books
Susan, the blogger behind Chocolate-Covered Books, and I met on the first day of law school (I guess it was technically the first day of orientation). Susan sat down next to me in Room 100 of Hutchins Hall, we realized we were in the same first-year section (K – I think…) and then became inseparable for three years. We watched Buffy at lunch while we pretended to study. We cheered for the other person when she won a game of 4-suit spider solitaire in Civil Procedure for the first time. We emailed every day during our summers in different cities (and actually still do that today now that we settled 1000 miles apart). But one of the best things about being friends with Susan was that I got to have some of the desserts she made (and they were especially appreciated my third-year, when Ben lived in Florida and I had to fend for myself for food). Susan is also my official book screener. She reads so quickly, that I send her book recommendations and then she tells me if I should bother reading them or not.
These are the reasons I love Susan but I’m hoping that you all find your own reasons for reading her blog.
Oh, and while your there, convince her to join twitter. She doesn’t know what she’s missing.
Yay! Susan! Go Blue!

Your friend’s blog has an interesting title! Is she the friend who reads a mind-boggling 200 books (or was it 300 books) every year? 🙂
