No. It’s not 2006. Don’t worry. I am just WAY behind the times reading this one.
You all know the premise: economists connect seemingly unconnected things, like the legalization of abortions correlating with the fall in crime.
I was an economics minor and a psychology major, so this mix of economics and social science is right up my alley.This was an interesting book. It made me look at the world a little differently and made me feel a little smarter by the end. It’d been awhile since I’d read a good nonfiction book and this was just want I needed.
The audiobook was fine. I can’t think of anything that made it stand out, but I also can’t think of any complaints. Which is pretty much exactly what you want for nonfiction audio.

I read this in print maybe five or six years ago and I loved it. I like books that blow your mind with these smarty facts.

I haven’t read this one yet either, although I’ve been meaning to for a while. Given the subject, I wonder if the book would have been written any differently after the economy changed in 2008?
