The Sunday Salon [12.15.13]

Well, I tried to log on an hour ago to give you guys a nice post since it’s been a little while. But it turns out my site was down (and has been for several days) so I spent all of my time dealing with that (and wondering if any of this is still a worthwhile endeavor since FOUR DAYS passed before you or I even noticed this site wasn’t working) and now I have somewhere to be.

Anyway, I am alive. I am busy. I am actually reading a bit. And I will have some posts again soon.

For now, I leave you with Evan’s traumatic Santa experiences yesterday. Yes, I am the awesome mom that scared my child twice in one day. So much for gentle parenting this weekend.

Oh yeah, I’ve got some pictures like that too! My kids were fine when they were really little, then there was a middle stage when they completely freaked out over Santa. Then they liked him again because Santa = presents. Then they were too cool for him. I’m not sadistic, I swear, but kids crying over Santa IS a little bit cute.

Poor Evan! It’s funny that I follow people’s Instagram accounts more than blogs these days. I realize that they aren’t exchangeable, but that is how my life is going at the moment. I remember when Santa was scary 🙂

In your defense, he WAS a nice looking Santa. Some kids just don’t care for the guy. I had to sit under my kid, covered by a blanket for every shot taken of my son so I get it. Those EVANS are all alike. LOL.
